Stacy:

we all have our comfort levels, just as Dan wrote today. I don't like to take chances either and I have my own rules which I abide by, and when there is any chance of ice being on the roads, then I just take the car. Better to be smart and play it safe. This is very unusual weather for our part of the country and I hope it returns to normal soon so we can ride again.

Ms. Stacy: No but I did ride Saturday! It was a wonderful 50f all day and most of the night. Then less then 24 hours later it was all of 2f and over 3 inches of snow with more on the way today. UGH!

That question always gets me. Are people trying to be funny or just dumb? During riding season it is all I hear from people to which I respond with a "You get one stupid question a day and that was it?" That same answer works in the winter too when there is and inch of ice on the roads.

I don't think, wait I know, people have to idea what it is to ride. There for they have no idea how bad it feels when we can't ride.
