Rizoma makes the sexiest motorbike farkles, and their mirror collection is lust-worthy in all kinds of ways. After my awful experience with Napoleon mirrors, I’ve had my eye on a set of Reverse Retros, but they’ll dent your pocketbook something fierce. If you’re in Europe, a single mirror will set you back 89 Euro ($125 USD!) The only US importer I know of is PJ’s Parts, which sells them for $109 apiece. Not willing to spring $220 plus shipping for a set of mirrors, I’ve been content to settle for the Napoleons even if they give me The Rage every time I look at them. But what if I told you you can score a set of Reverse Retros for a little more than half the price?
While conversing with someone on SVRider about his mirrors, I was tipped off to the existence of a certain page in the Triumph Accessories Catalog:
Looks mighty familiar, eh?
A cursory search by the part number A9638030 turned up a source on eBay with the low, low price of $68.99 per mirror. Score!
Total price for the set, including shipping: $149.98.
The only wrinkle in the works is that the famous Triumph logo is etched on the backs of each mirror. The picture on the catalog page doesn’t show this, so be warned. Still, 40% off is worth a little black paint to cover it up.

Score! I actually have some hanging in my local shop that I constantly drool over. He’ll match PJ’s on price, too. I wonder if I can get him to match Triumphs site?
Those do look sexy but I am wondering how much further you have to look down to see the mirror than you do with the standard mirrors? My only concern is the extra distance you have to take your eyes off the road rather than a quick glace to the stockers.
@Carlos: Never hurts to ask, right?
@LifeOn2Whls: Considering that the stockers gave me a great view of my elbows and very little else, darn near anything is an improvement. The Napoleons do have a bigger viewing area, but they’re dead to me. The Rizomas are smaller, and you can flip them to point out the other way if you want a better angle. I’ve seen bikes with them set either way and no one would be the wiser.
Yes, these mirrors are my one concession to vanity.
How’d the install/mount go? Any hiccups along the way? Any adapters needed? Happy with ‘em? I’ve found a bunch of ‘em on ebay searching for ‘triumph triple mirror’ and am close to pulling the trigger.
Thanks!!!
