You should like those. I just swapped out a front tire again, first time I’ve had a tire changed in the same state I live in
Nice!
I had plenty of tread left on the front tire, but since I was switching tires to another kind entirely, I went all in.
I’m pleased with them so far. I had heard that the PR2s are very “neutral” when steering and it seems to be true.
You’ll have to let us know how those break in for you. I have about 3K on my Dunlops and the PR2s are on my list when these are balding. The SV forums have had some good things to say.
BTW…you may want to try and find another shop to get your tires mounted. We have a place here that does nothing but MC tires and they charge about 35/tire to mount and balance plus an extra 5 if you want new stems.
I am sold on these tires. Replaced the stock Dunlops last year with the RoadPilot 2 and thery are simply awesome. Traveled from Ontario (Canada) to B.C.(Canada), down to Yellowstone and then back to Canada. Some 10000 km (6500-7000 m) and hardly have any noticeable wear. Fantastic tire! (much better than the Metzlers on a previous 13000 km trip 2 years ago)
