Bear Camp Road

This photo was taken up on the Peavine Ridge part of Bear Camp Road, which runs between Galice and Agness in Southwestern Oregon. This road crosses the juncture of the Siskiyou Mountans and the Coast Range, some of the most rugged and remote mountain terrain in the US. Bear Camp Road received notoriety in 2006 during the search for the lost Kim family. Many others have gotten lost or stuck on the road. It’s not one to be taken lightly or without proper preparation unless you know the area very well.

More pictures and a short writeup of my trip are here: Bear Camp Road

I saw this photo theme on: Fuzzygalore.com

Sounds like a great place to ride and get away from the hustle and bustle. Very peaceful and serene.
