Some Italian Triumph enthusiasts got crazy with the Photoshop and grafted a KTM 990 Superduke onto a Triumph Street Triple R, then slapped on a studded tire and what looks like a set of snowmachine treads. The result? A Triumph Street Triple Trimotard “Winter Edition”. (via Hell For Leather)

GearChic profiled a new women’s jacket from Japan that features an added twist: airbags! Jacket with Airbags The sole distributor in the US is hoping to generate more interest. Ladies, are you interested?

Machine shop 101
Here’s a ten part video series from the geeks at MIT called Machining Skills for Prototype Development. The first video is so full of learning win that my head exploded. I’m looking forward to the other nine hours. Highly recommended!

That Machining video brought me back to the days I spent slaving over a lathe and drill press when all I wanted to do was play with the in house CNC machine… fond memories, thanks for posting that Stacy!

A little closer to the \Speed Racer,\ when-you-have-an-accident-you-become-completely-encased-in-a-bubble days. I can’t wait. I’m commenting on the airbag jacket, of course.
