Ahh yes, springtime in Oregon. Don’t like the weather? Wait 5 minutes.
It’s been a dreary week or so here at Bolty HQ. I haven’t really had much chance to ride for fun — it seems to turn stormy every time I have a chance to ride. I can handle rain, and I can handle cold, but a cold, hard-driving rain in a windstorm and a chance of hail ain’t my idea of a fun time.
So I’ve been playing a lot of Mass Effect 2. Think of it as an action-packed science fiction movie, but 50 hours long and instead of watching the protagonist, you get to control them. And yes, that’s Martin Sheen’s voice. And Seth Green’s, and that chick from Chuck’s, and Adam Baldwin, and Tricia Helfer, and Michael Hogan, and Michael Dorn, and Claudia Black, and Carrie Ann Moss, and… I’d call that an all-star voice cast. It’s like a who’s who of great science fiction.
Anyway, in motorcycle-related news, Stacey’s Street Triple has been wired up for heated gear the right way and she’s been riding around in the pouring rain like a trooper. She recently acquired a new Olympia jacket. If we’re lucky, we might get a review out of her yet.
I received the title to my SV650 in the mail this afternoon. Owning my bike outright never felt so good!

Not to brag, but it’s been pretty nice out here in NC. Except for the *massive* amount of pollen. It’s everywhere! If you are outside for more than 30 seconds, you get a yellow coating of fine pollen on any horizontal surface.
Oh yea, I also just installed an SV1000 chin-fairing on my 650!

@Metralla: I’m playing ME2 on the PC. Made the mistake of playing the first one on the 360 — I’m terrible at playing shooters on a console.
