The ADV Multiquoter (for Firefox)

The ADV Multiquoter is a Greasemonkey script for Firefox that adds the option to quote from multiple posts. It’s as simple as picking the posts you want to quote, then clicking on a multiquote link when you’re ready to write your reply.

Here’s how it works:

Sounds Great, How Do I Get It?

1. The first requirement is Firefox.
2. The second requirement is the Greasemonkey extension. To install it, click on the link, then click on the “Add to Firefox” button. A dialog box will appear. Read it, then click on “Install Now”. Restart Firefox when prompted.

Once you have Greasemonkey, you can install the script by clicking on this link:

Install the ADV Multiquoter NOW!

A dialog box similar to the following will appear:

Read the dialog, then click on “Install”. That’s it.

Uninstalling The Script

Not that you’d ever want to because it’s just that awesome…

1. Go to Tools -> Greasemonkey -> Manage User Scripts…
2. Select “ADV Multiquoter” from the list on the left, then click the Uninstall button.

Upgrading the Script

To upgrade this script when a new version is released:

1. Go to Tools -> Greasemonkey -> Manage User Scripts…
2. Select “ADV Multiquoter” from the list on the left, then click the Uninstall button.
3. Then, click here to install the new version: Install the ADV Multiquoter NOW!
